본 연구에서는 국가보훈대상자의 보훈정책 인지, 이용, 정책 만족도, 그리고 자긍심 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 선행연구를 통해 변인 간의 관계에 관한 가설을 설정하고, 「2021년 국가보훈대상자 생활실태조사」 자료를 활용하여 구조방정식 모형 분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 국가보훈대상자의 보훈정책 인지는 정책 이용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 보훈정책 인지와 이용은 정책 만족도에 각각 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 보훈정책 인지와 정책 이용, 정책 만족도는 국가보훈대상자 자긍심에 각각 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 보훈정책 인지와 국가보훈대상자 자긍심의 관계에서 보훈정책의 이용과 정책 만족도가 긍정적인 매개효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 본 연구는 국가보훈대상자의 자긍심을 높이기 위한 이론적, 정책적 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

The purposes of present study are to analyze the structural relationships between veterans" policy awareness, utilization, policy satisfaction, and the pride of national veterans, and to provide theoretical and policy implications. Based on a review of previous research, a hypothesis was developed regarding the relationships between these variables, which was tested using structural equation modeling with data from the 2021 National Survey of Veterans" Living Conditions. The analysis revealed that veterans" policy awareness positively influences policy utilization, and that both policy awareness and utilization positively affect policy satisfaction. Furthermore, the results indicated that policy awareness of veterans, policy utilization, and policy satisfaction each positively affect the pride of national veterans. Additionally, the result showed that policy utilization and satisfaction mediated the relationship between policy awareness and the pride of national veterans. Based on these results, this study discusses theoretical and policy implications for enhancing the pride of national veterans.
